When left to his own devices Luis can be pretty creative in the kitchen. Yesterday for lunch, after a couple of e-mails asking me how its done, Luis made his pasta alla carbonara, Spanish style. There was no pancetta or bacon in the house, so he used our jamon iberico bellota, direct from Spain. He cooked the pasta, tossed it with one egg lightly beaten with parmesan and black pepper, and tossed in some sliced jamon. Lunch is served.
